Read What The Man Has To Say After The Game

October 20th 2002 Ravens 17 Jaguars 10
Wow!!! What a day! As depressed as we were
after last weeks loss we really left this
game pumped up.
As good as sales were for the Monday night
game they were average at best today.
We were trying to figure out why sales might
be so good on a Monday night and not as good
on Sunday.
I had another problem today, an invader.
I have a deal with the other Miller Lite
person in my room and that is
I get sections 105 -108 and she gets everything
from 104 and over. And while we usually have
three Miller Lite
Vendors in our room that third person usually
goes towards the 50 yard line. So it has
worked great for a long time.
Well Janet couldn't make it today and one
of the up and comers Jeff who is a long time
Oriole vendor moved in.
I told him about our deal but he seemed very
uninterested in listening.
Well I thought I would just do my thing and
see what happened.
He probably took about a case away from
me and it wouldn't have been so bad if a
few of my regulars hadn't of strayed.
Imagine that, my people buying beer from
a total stranger. Now most of you will say
well it wasn't me!!!
And while he will probably be gone next game
when Janet returns remember I'm here for
you so you gotta be there for me!!!!!
Now about this team THEY ARE TIGHT!!!! I
think this is the next generation of the
No-Name Defense.
Do you know after the first two games this
year many analysts (not any of us of course)
wondered out loud if the
Ravens would win any games? Imagine that.
When Todd Heap caught that pass on the
20 and scored through a barrage of Jaguar
players I couldn't believe it.
That was one of the best run after catches
I have ever seen.
This team has character and while we don't
have the biggest names in the game
WE HAVE THE TEAM WITHT THE BIGGEST HEART!!!
So despite the fact that sales weren't the
greatest I still had a great day.
The Ravens won and I got to hang with my
crew.
NEXT STOP PITTSBURG!!!!!!!
PS: I am going to the Bob Ehrlich for Governor
Sports Fund Raiser tonight and many of
Baltimore's sports legends new and old are
expected to be there from Art Donovan to
Brooks Robinson and even a few Ravens.
I am braking out my good camera so expect
some good pics by the end of the week!!!
Who is the Man anyway????
