SOME DUDE SOMEWHERE once said sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
Today I was both lucky and good. I picked 52nd today and as some of you heard on
my WQSR game day interview I was fully prepared to go upstairs and start working
my way back to the top ten. When it came time to pick my product I noticed a new product in
"MY SECTION" Miller Lite 20 oz Bottles I couldn't believe it.
I guess everyone thought it would be too heavy. I completely flipped and said "I'll take it".
It cost $8 a bottle but it has 25% more beer but it was six pounds heavier per case.
I figured what did I have to lose, my beer, my section, NO PROBLEM!!!!!

Shortly after the kick off I found my self in the middle of a homecoming
and when I yelled the question the answer was deafening.

WHO'S THE MAN??? J-I-M-M-Y I actually do this for money but sometimes
I can't believe their paying me. Too Cool!!!!! Well it was a magical day and I rolled!!!
I tried hard to tell you that the beers were bigger and a dollar
more and for the most part it wasn't a problem.

I have been vending for 25 years and I have always worked out
a little to help me keep my edge. This year as usual I lifted more
than anything and the first game was a disaster physically. My heart was pounding.
So for the past month I have been running one mile three to four times a week
and just lifting twenty and thirty pound dumbbells for my arms and DUH it worked like a charm.
My heart rate was elevated but not out of site.
The beer was heavier but I was selling it so fast that it wasn't heavy for long.

An objective definition of luck is when opportunity meets preparation.
The opportunity was the new product and I was prepared for the heavier
load by working out. You provided the atmosphere and support for
the man who had been taken away from you.
The result was my best day of the year in terms of sales and pure JOY!!!!!

And if you didn't already know………I'M BACK!!!
I screwed up by breaking my hand and dropping on the list
but that is not going to happen again.
Like I said before I do this for money but if it wasn't fun
I don't know that I would do it. I love being the life of the party and
you guys make it all worth while.
I crushed the other guy who had taken my spot so there is no doubt who
will be your beer man next week but I owe it all to you so Thanks!!!!!!!!!
