In The Stands Volume 12 I'm back but………

As most of you know I missed two games due to a broken hand.
To make a long story short this Redskins Fan's head jumped up and hit me in the hand and
I missed two games because of it.
I lost more than the money or the good time making it. I lost my spot on the list and my
Miller Lite Card with it. In the past if you missed a game they (the Management) would hold you
r spot and you would pick up where you left off but this year in their infinite wisdom they decided
to go with a new rule where if you missed a game you would receive the average
of the guy in front of you on the list and the guy behind you.
An average if you will to keep you from gaining an unfair advantage if everyone had a bad day.
This isn't a terrible system unless someone who chose to take the day off
for what ever would move up the list,
while a person who had to miss due to an injury dropped on the list because the
guys surrounding him on the list didn't due as well. Well guess what happened to me???
In the first game which I worked I moved up from 10th to 9th not bad for the first game.
I have managed to stay in the top ten vendors in terms of Dollar sales since the
Ravens came to town. In the second game which I missed due my broken hand I dropped from
9th to 16th using the system I told you about.
Two other vendors who chose to take off moved up the list. In the season opener
I couldn't work again due to my hand and I dropped from 16th to 42nd UNBELEIVABLE!!!!
I tried to talk to management about this and there basic answer was S-O-R-R-Y!!!!!!
So for the KC game I picked 42nd and my Miller Lite was long gone but surprisingly
Bud was still available in my section. I couldn't believe it.
I figured for one game I could ask you to switch and I would be back in action for the next game.
No Problem….Right???.........Wrong……A few of you went with the plan.
The rest, I might have well been selling DIRT.
Now don't get me wrong I like my favorite beer too but I have in the past made
a sacrifice for a friend who needed a hand. So I basically had my worst day ever,
7 cases of Bud and 1 case of Miller Draft. I haven't heard yet but I expect to drop more on the list.
So you might not see me around for a while. I haven't had to study the board since my
Camden Yards days with the Orioles. This is where I actually have to strategize what product to
pick every game in hopes that I can better my spot on the list to get a better product to
hopefully get my spot back. I might even have to go upstairs
A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH!!!!! LEONARD!!!!
Over the past few years I have really enjoyed serving you guys, getting you your beer,
showing off my kids pictures, and asking that never ending question……….
WHO'S THE MAN???? I always loved hearing the answer.
To get my card back I'm going to have to split and I might not be back for awhile.
If I get the chance I don't think I'll take the Bud Card.
I don't think I'll return UNTIL I GET MY MILLER LITE CARD BACK!!!!!!!
Such is life……I don't know the exact wording but it goes something like
"That in life that doesn't kill you makes you stronger".
So I guess I get to experience some new fans and new parts of the stadium but
I know for a fact that none of them will beat you.
Quitters never win and winners never quit.
I am going to do what it takes and as a certain California gubernatorial candidate once said
I'll Be BACK!!!!!!!

Yours Truly As Always
