Laurel Race Course 08/17/02

On a day when most party goers were at Pimlico Race Track for The Harley
Davidson 100th Anniversary Tour I found myself going to Laurel Race
Track. I attended my first Preakness last May after working it for the
previous 12 years selling Black Eye Susan's.
I BROUGHT my BROTHER Duane FOR KICKS.
Well the first thing I did was to sit down and
make selections for all the day's races. So I went up and made my bets.
I remember it vividly because this dufus kept asking to look at my
racing form. He then asked me why I was betting so many races at one
time. I told him I came to party not TO wait in line all day.
He goes " oh I'm stupid I bet all my races AT one time " and I was like
well duh!!!

Anyway we had a great day hanging out but I really did not pay attention
to the races. So Sunday I woke up, opened up the paper, and whipped out
my tickets. I had won $40.00, unbelievable. So basically it took me
three months to cash in. Today I lost every race, had a few beers, and still
came out $6.00 to the better. Not A Bad Day!!!
